Today was another hard day for Freedom and our Dobie foster home Brian and Sue. We sadly had to say goodbye to our senior foster dog Calli today. She was a palliative dog in our care for the last few months. Now she is out of pain and running with all the other dogs at the Rainbow Bridge.
Calli you will greatly be missed by your foster family and everyone around you.
Thank you to everyone who has been there for her and supported her <3Thank you Westboro Animal Hospital for making her comfortable and taking care of her and comforting her foster family.

Freedom said goodbye to our most amazing mascot Blue affectionately known to all as Mr. Blue.
Mr. Blue had the most AMAZING foster family who welcomed him into their home and adopted him earlier this year.
Thank you everybody that met Mr. Blue at so many events and just gave our boy a big hug. He absolutely loved meeting so many of you so much!
Run free sweet boy until we all meet again at the Bridge. 2015
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown

Lady came to Freedom months ago where she was kept in a loving foster home until her court case was done. Lady like others who came into care were rescued from a horrible hoarding situation. Unlike the other Lady was in pretty rough shape and it was clear there was also alot of neglect. She spent months with her foster dad and 2 foster brothers (both from hoarding situations) where she passed away before being released. She may not have had the chance to be adopted but she was definitely in her furever loving home <3 Rest in Peace at rainbow bridge sweet girl <3
It is with an extremely heavy heart that we have to announce the passing of Titus, who has recently passed from Cancer. Titus was dealt a rough hand and was thrown to the streets by his owners. Not only was he left alone to find for himself but he needed an ACL surgery. Titus was Freedom's very first dog in care and very first adoption. Titus hit the Jackpot and landed himself the most amazing Dad anyone could ask for. Emmanouil loved Titus more then anyone and showed him that he was loved, cared for and that he could trust. Emmanouil took amazing care of Titus and was there for him through everything and loved him more then anyone and we cannot thank him enough for that! ❤ Rest ️in peace and Run free sweet Titus ❤

Our beautiful mascot Freedom Teddy has gone to the Bridge.
His foster mom gave him the most beautiful life ever; from being abandoned by his family at the Pound at the age of 15. Teddy lived the best life possible coming to all the events and getting lots of cuddles and kisses. What a feisty spirit.
Run free Teddy; we are so proud to have known you and to have loved you so much. 2015
It is with an extremely heavy heart that yesterday we said goodbye to Kole. As most of you know Kole had prostate cancer and was in palliative foster care. Over the weekend the decision was made that sadly the time had come to let Kole run free and cross the rainbow bridge. We could not thank his foster family enough to have shown Kole unconditional love and affection during his last month's but also for being there with him during his last moments to ensure he knew he was loved and that everything was ok. They provided Kole with a warm home, comfort, security and lots of love. We are comforted in knowing that Kole experienced family, and left us surrounded by those who meant the world to him. In true Kole style he wore a tuxedo to his final vet visit and left surrounded by his foster families loving arms ❤ Rest ️in peace and Run free sweet Kole ❤
